History

In 1983 two partners saw an opportunity to distribute no added sugar carob coated banana, manufactured at Coffs Harbour in NSW, to the health food market in South Australia. Over the next two years the range was expanded to include other carob and yoghurt coated dried fruits and nuts. Many of these products were suitable for diabetics. A manufacturer was later found to produce the products in Adelaide, South Australia. The private company "Priority Health Pty Ltd" was formed in December 1985.

Today

Today Priority Health, is a privately owned Australian company and has a range of over 2000 products and employs approximately 30 staff. Priority Health has developed into a leading supplier of premium quality health foods, nuts, dried fruit and snack foods to the South Australian market with over 25 years experience in the industry.
 
We pride ourselves on the standard of the "Premium Choice" range. Our manufacturing and distribution facility is located at Croydon Park, Adelaide, South Australia. This modern purpose built temperature controlled facility helps ensure products are delivered as fresh as possible in a timely manner.

Priority Health is HACCP accredited and a Quality Endorsed company under ISO 9001:2008 certification which assures customers that our quality management systems are of an exceptional standard and are continually updated.

Customers

Our customers range from health food stores, fruit and vegetable stores, pharmacies, hospitality and independent supermarkets located throughout Australia. We understand that all customers' needs are different, the friendly and experienced staff at Priority Health will try to ensure that the needs of each and every customer are met. Priority Health strives to further improve our customer service through customer feedback to ensure our service is continuously at a superior level.

Suppliers

Working together with our suppliers we strive to provide the best possible quality at affordable prices. All of our products are sourced from quality endorsed companies both locally and overseas. We endeavour to provide local products from Australia where possible.

Products

Our product range includes health products such as dried fruit, nuts, muesli, fruit juice, organic products, natural skincare, dietary fibre, functional foods, savoury snacks and confectionery for the times we would like to treat ourselves. We also cater for vegan, gluten, wheat and dairy free diests as well as include a range of diabetic friendly foods which have no added sugar.

Services

We also provide contract services for long-run packaging, dry roasting, oil roasting and dry blending. Our technologically advanced machinery enables us to provide these services in a very efficient and timely manner.
